A-- "WATER SKIP SHOTS" & "4" Eagles in One Round!
... OK -- MAYBE "2" -- BUT HOW ABOUT "17!"
These "once" in a life-time shots remind me of a very special day on the Bethpage Red Course years ago. My young son Jordan and I were teamed with a very nice chap and as a three-some we Teed Off to enjoy another pleasant day of golf! -- Truth be said, the guy was not a very good player. -- In fact, much less then very good. -- But that didn't bother us at all.
At any rate, some where on the Front 9 our new friend asked me if I ever had a "HOLE IN 1". ...At the time I was very proud to say I had "1!" -- He was very pleased to inform that he had "16!" -- Mind you, this middle aged guy with a "punch shot" swing really "struggled" in golf and couldn't hit the ball in the air very far at all. -- But no matter, some folks just enjoy "saying things."
--No harm done.
Now on the 17th -- Up Hill Par 3 of 165 Yards -- Jordie and I teed off hitting fairly good shots. With no hesitation at all our new friend then delivered a wicked "bladed shot" that kept bouncing up the hill, found the left side of the Green and starting rolling side ways to the Hole and -- you guess it -- "FELL Into The CUP!" -- Expressing no surprise what so ever, our friend called out: "NUMBER 17!" -- TRUE STORY!
Moral: ... "GOLF LUCK" ISN'T ONLY FOR PRO's! --DrDom
"How fortunate am I." -- I saw almost all of these shots courtesy of CBS Sports. -- "THANK YOU!"
I'm sure it's with a sense of pride that Tiger collects his "82" Win in JAPAN's "1st" PGA Tour Event, the 2019 ZOZO.
--- Truly a sensational comeback from the days when he couldn't even walk! -- Am quite sure you will enjoy this video.
Watching Tiger roll back time is even better today when you realize how much he's been through during his fabulous career.
Especially when you realize that this Post Injury "2nd Career" is only at the beginning with much more great golf to come!
Stay Healthy Tiger & "Keep It Going!"
By the way: -- Have you ever seen anyone putt better than Tiger Woods? -- I haven't.
